How to Cook It Properly
Preparation
- Remove from refrigeration 15–20 minutes before cooking
- Preheat oven to 375°F
- Lightly oil baking dish or sheet tray
Cooking Method – Oven (Recommended)
- Place meatballs evenly spaced
- Bake 18–22 minutes depending on size
- Internal temperature: 160°F
Alternate Method – Pan Finish
- Brown in a lightly oiled skillet over medium heat
- Turn gently to brown all sides
- Finish in oven or simmer in sauce until 160°F internal temperature
Resting
- Rest 3–5 minutes before serving
- If finishing in sauce, allow them to settle briefly before serving
Best Served With
- Tomato sauce over pasta
- Braised gently in Sunday gravy
- Served simply with crusty bread
- Finished with olive oil and grated Parmigiano
