Marinade time 30 minutes
Ingredients
- ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1.5 pounds sirloin steak or beef tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
Cooking Instructions
- To make the marinade, combine in a bowl ¼ cup low sodium soy sauce, ¼ cup olive oil,2 teaspoons Dijon mustard, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 4 cloves garlic, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper.
- Mix well.
- Add the steak tips to the bowl and coat with the marinade. Cover the bowl and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes and up to 6 hours.
- One hour prior to cooking, let steak come to room temperature.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil or avocado oil in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
- Once hot, add the steak tips in a single layer in the pan, and discard the used marinade.
- Cook in batches or in two pans as needed.
- Let the steak tips sear without moving them for 2-3 minutes.
- Flip and cook on one side for 2-3 minutes, then flip again do the other side for 2-3 minutes to reach your desired doneness.
