Event Details
- What: Our American Dream Cookbook — Summer Open House
- When: Friday, July 17, 2026 · 4:00–7:00 PM — drop in anytime
- Where: Teodora’s Boucherie Gourmande, 750 Chief Justice Cushing Highway, Cohasset, MA
- Admission: Free — everyone is welcome
At Teodora’s, feeding people has always been the family business. Rosangela learned it from her father — the belief that good food, shared generously, is how a community takes care of its own. So when the chance came to host a celebration of entrepreneurs who built their own American dream through food, opening our doors was the most natural thing in the world.
For one summer afternoon, our shop becomes a gathering place for grilling culture, craft beer, and the entrepreneurial spirit. Meet the women behind Our American Dream Cookbook, taste what our butcher counter does best in grilling season, and raise a glass with the Samuel Adams team — all in the company of good neighbors. Come for ten minutes or stay for three hours; either way, you’ll leave inspired (and well fed).
What to Expect
- Samuel Adams beer sampling — the Sam Adams team pours craft favorites and talks beer (where permitted by local regulations — please drink responsibly).
- Summer tasting bites — grilling-season flavors straight from Teodora’s butcher counter, with tips you can take home to your own grill.
- Meet the makers — author Jennifer Glanville Love and publisher Sara Domville share the stories behind Our American Dream Cookbook, alongside entrepreneurs featured in its pages.
- Cookbook sales & signing — signed copies available, with book sales managed by Buttonwood Books and Toys.
- “Tip of the Hat” — a wall of cowboy hats, each one hiding a little surprise. Pick a hat and see what you find.
- Gift basket raffle — prizes from Brewing the American Dream and Samuel Adams, plus a cookbook giveaway.
Hosted in Partnership With
This afternoon comes together thanks to four partners we’re proud to stand beside:

- Brewing the American Dream — Boston Beer’s philanthropic program, which has spent years funding, mentoring, and championing up-and-coming food and beverage entrepreneurs — the very people whose recipes fill this book.
- Samuel Adams — the brewery that sparked the American craft beer movement, celebrating forty years of Jim Koch’s Boston Beer Company.
- Buttonwood Books and Toys — Cohasset’s beloved independent bookstore, managing cookbook sales and signings on the day.
